Each employee was given $10 dollars to give to one of the three local charitable organizations that were presented to them during the orientation session they attended. Charitable Christmas Celebration

Witham Family Hotels hosts an annual Charitable Christmas Celebration a few weeks before Christmas for the local community. The Atlantic Oceanside hosts the event, which has dozens of craft tables, games, holiday movies, cookie decorating, hot chocolate, letter writing, and of course Santa! Participants bring a gift for a child to leave under the tree, which is donated to local charities for christmas. In 2016, we also collected warm winter clothing for donation. 4th of July Parade

Every year, Witham Family Hotels participates in the Bar Harbor 4th of July Celebration! This includes a giant parade through downtown Bar Harbor, fun and games on the field, and fireworks from the pier. The 2016 theme was Celebrate the Centennial! Our float was a giant birthday cake, decorated in the centennial colors. We also provided birthday cake at the Bar Harbor Inn for hundreds of people. The Charitable Fund contributes as a sponsor to the festivities.
